It took a long time to get the most blatant misogyny of the two men and a half. I must have seen a bad episode once and put me off. However, to visit my 80 year old mother four years ago, insisted that I see. We have seen an episode and I laughed a little. Then he looked about five episodes in syndication during the visit. I was a convert! Once I got home, I made sure to catch up on all the episodes I had missed. I could not help it. He was always on one channel or another.I loved how the show was hot in some places and not very smart. I decided it was not misogynist, it was a great juxtaposition between the extremes in men: a sensitive and gentle man considered a "loser" and a man considered a "winner" was on with what he wanted from women. The loser, Alan Harper (Jon Cryer plays) lived happily in his brother, trying to raise her son (played by Angus T. Jones) Jake after his divorce. The winner, the famous Charlie Sheen, live the lifestyle that many people dream. In the cast of the disapproving mother Evelyn (played by Holland Taylor) and Berta (Conchata Ferrell works) was a riot. Jane Lynch as the psychiatrist was really wonderful.
We watched Jake grow in its role as a teenager silly, but adorable. We have heard tales of Berta an interesting life and spent his disappointing family members and many of us could relate to it. Berta often stole the show, but then, at some point, did each of the actors. The "dove" episode always makes me laugh out loud when I see Jake finally break Evelyn, a feat that neither Charlie or Alan ever achieved. Every season, I wondered how they would keep the show interesting and fun. As Jake got older, like Charlie. I was glad they brought in colonoscopy episode ("Yay, No Polyps!") And Charlie Mojo was not what it was. The writers were brilliant. While Alan was not knowing, it was not humanity and kindness about him. While Charlie was immoral, never lied to women about who he was. He was noble in its way. The authors of these cartoons real to us, and yet the viewer can see that when all is said and done, it was a family. Speaking of family, I also loved the cameos with Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez. This show was in the family and the vagaries of love-hate relationship.
veryone knows now the beginning of the issue and all the drama that occurred after Charlie had its crisis. Now everyone has their own opinion about the people involved and its aftermath. They "exploded" Charlie in the series so I could never return, an act of transparency and revenge. I was very disappointed in the episode of season 9.Last year, when Charlie was dead, there were important feelings about the death of Charlie. After all, family members were portrayed during eight seasons as love his way. Not a tear was shed for Charlie. There was a takedown of his character and was not fun. Even if you hate Charlie Sheen, I think this is the work of writers to make the change smoothly. We have survived the changes in Darrins Bewitched, Spin City, Michael J. survived the change Fox Charlie Sheen, and Drew Carey took Bob Barker on The Price is Right, no problem. In Roseanne, Becky changed the character just talking about changing Darrin. It was with great cunning. But in all cases of commutation of the main characters, the shows that have lasted have remained faithful to the integrity of the issue.Ashton Kutcher has been introduced to replace Charlie Sheen. The foundation (few billionaires land on the outskirts of sad sack Charlie after a failed suicide attempt) was ridiculous. I was hoping it would bring Ashton as the illegitimate son of Charles, which I think would have more depth of character.
Anyway, I have not been consulted, so you're stuck in this ridiculous story.During the six episodes, I looked at the new Sheen, unless the season, I see nothing left of the original fun. Jake has become complicit in the high school dropout candidate, Alan has become a pathetic parasite, Berta became nothing more than average and full of lust, and Ashton, well, Ashton. First, why Ashton naked all the time? It has a beautiful body, but not so great. Why are long and stringy hair? It looks like Jesus. We do go through a big cock and is supposed to be attractive to die, but who wants schtup Jesus? It sucks. My impression is that they try to take our minds the fact that Ashton Kutcher can not act his way out of a paper bag. He was big on Punk'd, but that was it. Again, they have not asked my opinion, but I think Daniel Tosh would have been a later addition to the foundry. It was the same way, without complex and Charlie Sheen has a black mood, nervous. OK, maybe that's crazy talk, but the idea of therapy is Jane Lynch Tosh made me laugh, which is more of this new show has done. Speaking of laughter, the laugh track in the new episodes is too strong or stronger, it seems that no one laughs.
